The El Conquistador Dining Room reflects old world elegance in the truest sense. A magnificent tile mural adorns one wall-its origin unknown-adding a certain mystique to the decor. View our Menu
When the original Hotel burned in 1927, then owners the Mackeys decided they'd rebuild it bigger and better-which they did, this time out of concrete and steel so it couldn't burn again. The Mackeys also owned a whiskey distillery in Juarez, Mexico.
There was a time that the World Famous Saddle & Spur Tavern only sold Mackey's All American and Mackey's Mule Kick Whiskeys. Of course today you can relax around the fifty year old wooden bar and enjoy your favorite cocktail. Don't miss over two hundred one-of-a-kind registered cattle brands on the wall-a trait the tavern has been famous for since the 20's. Heck, for $25 you can even put your own brand up!
